The information gathered from the market research questionnaire will be vital in the formation and set aside status of the solicitation. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Field Acquisition Office (FAO), intends to make a single award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm-fixed prices for Physician Services as prescribed below for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Marion, located in Marion, IL. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, with four (4) one-year option periods. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621111 – Offices of Physicians, (Size Standard of $16 Million). General Information regarding the BOP is located at www.bop.gov. — The contractor shall provide Physician services according to the following schedule: A session is defined as one hour. The contractor is estimated to provide twenty (20) sessions per week. They will work two (2) days per week for 48 weeks in a calendar year. The schedule will consist of 10 session days, Monday through Friday (except Federal Holidays), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch period, on a as needed basis for 120 workdays within the first year, and 120 workdays in Performance Period 1, not to exceed 240 workdays in a 24-month period. — All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. If you have questions about the System for Award Management (SAM), Government procurements in general, or need assistance in the preparation of your quote, a local Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) may be able to help.
